Research Interests

NEMS/MEMS switches and logic, piezoelectric thin films, atomic force microscopy (AFM), and conductive atomic force microscopy (C-AFM).

My current research focuses on evaluating the performance and contact fouling of nanoscale conducting junctions using the atomic force microscope. This work has application to the fabrication of nanoswitches that can behave as logic elements in a nanomechanical computer.
