Carpick Group Presents at the 79th STLE Annual Meeting and Exhibition
Members of the Carpick Research Group recently took part in the 79th Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE) Annual Meeting & Exhibition, held in Atlanta, Georgia, from May 18 to 22, 2025. The team delivered five presentations and presented one research poster, which was honored with the prestigious Platinum Level Robert Erck Presentation Award.
This year’s contributions spanned a wide range of tribological research, including biotribology, 2D materials, fracture mechanics of graphene, the innovative use of nanoparticles to form in-situ tribocoatings, and the application of machine learning in tribology. These diverse topics reflect the group’s commitment to advancing both fundamental understanding and practical applications in the field.
The meeting also offered a great opportunity to connect with collaborators, colleagues, and Carpick Group alumni. We’re proud of the team’s impactful presence and look forward to continued contributions to the tribology community.
