Carpick research group had a strong presence at this year’s Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) and Gordon Research Conference (GRC) on Tribology, held at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, from June 28 to July 3.
At the GRS, which takes place just before the main conference and gives early career researchers a chance to present their work in a relaxed, supportive setting, the group was represented through posters as well as a talk by Dr. Cyrian Leriche.
At the GRC, the group had four posters on display, presented by Dr. Cyrian Leriche, Ms. Yunah Jeung, Mr. Zong-Yun Tsai, and Dr. Cangyu Qu. Dr. Qu, now an alum of the group, returned to share a poster on the work he completed with us during his time the lab. Prof. Robert Carpick also gave an invited talk at the conference.
Congratulations to everyone who represented the group this year, and thank you to Dr. Qu for coming back to share his work with the community.
