We’re excited to share that Mateus Cardoso has been selected as a recipient of the Lubricants Travel Award! Established in 2018, this award is presented annually to support junior researchers in presenting their work at leading conferences in tribology, helping to promote research in friction, lubrication, and wear.
This award will support Mateus’s participation in the World Tribology Congress 2026, which will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from September 20–25, 2026.
Mateus would like to thank his friends in the Carpick group for all their help and support, and a special thanks to his advisor, Prof. Robert Carpick, for his constant mentorship and support. He also thanks his project collaborators for all their contributions, as well as the MDPI Lubricants Travel Award committee for this recognition.
