Dr. Lu Fang receives her PhD degree

Carpick Research Group alumna Dr. Lu Fang returned to Penn to receive her PhD at the 2023 Penn Engineering Doctoral Ceremony on May 11, 2023. Dr. Fang, who defended her thesis in November 2022, is now a Senior Lubrication Engineer at Tesla, Inc. in Palo Alto, CA where she’s working on understanding and optimizing the tribology of electric vehicles.
