Professor Robert Carpick Honored with 2025 Student Choice Award for Faculty Advocacy

Professor Robert Carpick, John Henry Towne Professor in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics (MEAM), has been recognized with the Michael L. Barrett (ENG’89) and Traci Barrett (W’91) Faculty Award for Student Advocacy at the 2025 Penn Engineering Student Choice Awards. Presented at this year’s Undergraduate Awards Ceremony by the Engineering Deans’ Advisory Board (EDAB) and the Underrepresented Student Advisory Board in Engineering (USABE), this award honors faculty members who have demonstrated exceptional support for undergraduate students and a strong commitment to fostering community within Penn Engineering.
