PhD Candidate, Lu Fang, was one of two students awarded “Best Student Poster” at the 2022 Gordon Research Conference on Tribology. The title of her award-winning poster was “Spatially-resolved mechanochemistry: Taking advantage of contact mechanics to understand how forces drive ZDDP tribofilm formation”.

The E. Richard Booser Scholarship, awarded by the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE), is awarded to high-achieving undergraduates who wish to pursue graduate degrees or a career in tribology. Daniel Delghandi is the recipient of the 2021-2022 scholarship.
